All grades and styles of this polyester urethane elastomer are ensured of consistent thickness. Urethane sheet is available at Weaver Industries in four styles. Plain sheet - flexible, ideal for curved surface applications Fabric-back sheet - cast on polyester cotton blended fabric, ideal for curved surface applications Solid metal-back sheet - for applications requiring additional structural strength and corrosion resistance Expanded metal-back sheet - for applications requiring substantial form and ease of installation  Capabilities   Urethane Applications   Urethane Sheet Applications    Tensile Strength Up to double the strength of the best natural rubber compounds Resistance Abrasion resistance - consistently outwears other lining materials Tear, cut and gouge resistance Impact resistance - resiliency withstands impact without permanent deformation or rupture Oil-solvent resistance Ozone resistance Water resistance - resists water absorption and retains its physical qualities when exposed to water up to 158 degrees F.
